Ik baar to mil lo gale

on:“Andher Nagri Chaupat Raja” (1955) is a Chitramahal production. This movie was directed by Shamim Bhagat. This movie had Chitra, B. M. Vyas, Uma Devi, Gope, Amarnath, David Abraham etc in it.
This obscure movie has some equally obscure songs. Here is a duet from this movie. It is sung by Sudha Malhotra and Talat Mehmood. Bharat Vyas is the lyricist and Avinash Vyas (no relation) is the music director.
I have little idea about the actors on whom this song is picturised. I request our knowledgeable readers to help identify them.

Lyrics(Provided by nahm)
Ik baar to mil lo gale
bichad ham chale
na koi fariyaad rahe
Ik baar to mil lo gale
bichad ham chale
na koi fariyaad rahe
dheere dheere din dhale
jigar mora jale
milan tera yaad rahe
dheere dheere din dhale
jigar mera jale
milan tera yaad rahe
aayenge saawan ke maheene
aayengi barsaaten
aayenge saawan ke maheene
aayengi barsaaten
main na kabhi aaoongi baalma
yaad rahengi baaten
o o
main na kabhi aaoongi baalma
yaad rahengi baaten
lo ham to safar ko chale
aaj dil mile
chaman tera shaad rahe
dheere dheere din dhale
jigar mera jale
milan tera yaad rahe
yahaan nahin to wahaan milenge
janam janam ke saathi
yahaan nahin to wahaan milenge
janam janam ke saathi
tera mera mel puraana
jaise diyaa aur baati
haan tera mera mel puraana
jaise diyaa aur baati
piyaa sukh ki chaaon tale
tu phoole phale
sadaa aabaad rahe
ik baar to mil lo gale
bichad ham chale
na koi fariyaad rahe
dheere dheere din dhale
jigar mera jale
milan tera yaad rahe

Thanks Nahmji for this melody. I am not aware of the hero, but the net says he is Amarnath. Is it true?
