By 1990s, the golden era of Bollywood movie music was behind us. Still, one could witness a nice songs even in 1990s and beyond, though such songs were becoming few and far between.

Here is a nice song from “Baazigar” (1993). The present day Bollywood icon, Shahrukh Khan, then a newcomer had figured in this movie alongwith fellow newcomers Kajol and Shilpa Shetty.

This movie had a few nice songs. Here is a nice song from this movie. It was sung by Vinod Rathod. Anu Malik, son of Sardar Malik composed the music. His wife rani Malik is credited as the lyricist of this song.

This song is a party song, where SRK and Kajol are dancing, whereas Sushant Ray ( playing Inspector Siddharth) secretly loves Kajol, but is too shy to say so to Kajol, and so he is forced to silently watch SRK wooing and winning Kajol over.

This song is sung in a party where SRK and Kajol are getting engaged. Vinod Rathod, the singer, plays himself in this song and he is shown singing this song in the party. Anu Malik, the music director, is also one of the guests in the party, much like how Hitchcock used to figure in his movies in small uncredited roles.

This is a very nice song, that captures the feelings of a shy admirer very well. My heart actually goes out to him while watching this song.
