“Lahu ke do rang” is a movie that would be loved by Helen’s fans. Here she plays a long and important role. Similarly, this movie would be loved by the fans of Vinod Khanna, Danny and Ranjeet too. Yes, all these baddies ( Vinod Khanna had become a hero by that time, though) are present in this movie.

This movie had its music by Bappi Lahiri, and the movie contained some interesting songs. How interesting will be made clear when I post these songs in this blog.

The most well known of all the songs from this movie is “Chahiye thoda pyaar, thoda pyaar chahiye”. This Farooque Qaisar lyrics was sung by Kishore Kumar and was picturised on Vinod Khanna ( the son). Yes, Vinod Khanna played double role- viz father and son, and both Vinod Khannas sang songs in this movie, as did Danny Denzongpa.

This song was picturised on Vinod Khanna and Shabana Azmi. Shabana Azmi tries to play a “glamorous” role here. She did the same in Parvarish too, but she is clearly a misfit in such roles.

This is a song sung wonderfully by Kishore Kumar.

P S- I am pleased to announce that this hard to find song is the 400th song in this blog. The last 100 songs were posted in just 22 days, at almost a Sehwag like strike rate. For those who do not get it, my last sentence alluded to the game of cricket and to one of its maverick characters.
