“Naya Zamana” (1970) was one of the first movies where Dharmendra and Hema Malini were seen together. In this movie, Dharmendra plays a union leader of a mill, whereas Hema Malini plays the daughter of the mill owner.

I have been posting songs from “Nadiya Ke paar” (1948) these days. Those were the days when none of the singinging legends had become legends. For instance, Rafi had yet to become the hottest male playback singer of the era.

There are many movies which have titles like “beti”, “beta”, “bhai”, “bahan” and their various combinations. In fact, I tend to get confused among their various combinations. And to complicate matters, there may be different movies of the same name as well.

I have posted a few songs from “Ladki” (1953). I had mentioned while posting these songs that “Ladki” (1953) was a musical blockbuster as well as a song full of some nice dances on many of these songs.

I have posted a song from a movie called “Jaalsaaz” (1959). There was another movie made with the same name in 1969. This movie “Jaalsaaz” (1969) had Dara Singh in lead role and it had a new leading lady called Bambi.

“when one talks of “Nadiya Ke Paar”, one is mostly reminded of the Rajshri Productions movie of 1980s. But there was another movie of this name in 1948.
