I have heard and seen the happy version of this song, where Kishore Kumar is seated at the piano and singing, but I didn't realize that there was a sad version too. When I first heard this song, I was surprised to hear Rafi singing for Kishore Kumar, until I realized that I had heard the same combination in Raaginee, "Man mora banwaraa ..." Wonder how KK felt about it? This is a wonderful song.
